Meghan was diagnosed with celiac disease at a young age and understands the huge impact that food can have on our health. She studied nutrition at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she completed over 1200 hours of internships in local hospitals and in the community. After graduation, she served as a member of the Mercy Volunteer Corps for a year and volunteered full-time at Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento. She taught diabetes classes to the homeless guests and worked one-on-one helping to empower individuals to take control of their health.
